The Boys & Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes (Club) is a registered non-profit charitable organization devoted to serving and strengthening children, youth and families throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes.
To provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.

Boys and Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes is a leading provider of prevention and early intervention programs which support the physical, mental, educational and social health and development of young people from infancy to early adult hood and their families. The Club offers early years, child, youth and family mental health and support services in/ out of school and at home, childcare, after school, recreation and other critical hour programs which meet the community’s needs.
Through partnerships, and collaboration the Clubs innovative services are accountable to the community, participants, and funders. The dedicated and supportive team offers safe, quality programs and services in a proactive, non-intrusive manner, respectful of confidentiality, diversity and non-discrimination.
Programs and services focus on the strengths of the individual and/or the family and help prepare participants for life by helping them to discover and develop their abilities and skills, build confidence and competence. Quality programs and services are based on best practices and incorporate the three common Boys & Girls Club features
They develop and foster skills and knowledge, a sense of belonging, personal empowerment, achievement and self-confidence.
The Club strives to work with families, and partners to offer accessible and barrier free services. Fees are affordable and financial support is available when needed. Programs and services are open to all regardless of race, religion, social or economic status.
