Campers will learn new skating skills, practice those skills on and off the ice. Your Child will have on ice sessions with The Barn Elite Performance Centre Instructors. Campers will have the opportunity to practice and improve their hockey skills while enjoying a camp-like atmosphere. Campers will be on-ice for approximately 2 hours per day and will participate in dry-land training. Campers days will also be filled with other fun activities, including outdoor sports and swimming. Campers will grouped based on age and skill level of the participant based on the recommendations of the instructors- (Local League & Representative).
Representative Level: If your child has played at a representative (OMHA) level previously or you believe they demonstrate the skills to play at this level (crossovers, hockey stop, tight turns, puck control, transitions, skate forward and backward).
Local League Level: If your child has played in their local league and is still developing their core skills (starts, stops, tight turns, cross overs, puck control skating forward and backwards and transitions).
