Adventure Quest

Adventure Quest is a Ministry of Children and Youth Services funded program offered by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes in partnership with CHIMO youth services.

Adventure Quest is a program for youth who are struggling at school (Grades 6-7-8), and are in need of extra support and guidance to promote success. The program helps students become more self-confident, communicate better both at home and school, work on group skills, peer relations, making decisions and solving conflicts. As well, the program offers in home support to assist families with their concerns such as communication, problem solving and setting limits, etc. Family involvement is a must!

The Adventure Quest program attempts to provide transportation for youths participating in the program, and works collaboratively with the Trillium Lakelands District School Board, and Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic School Board to provide a smooth return when the youth graduates from Adventure Quest.

Group sizes are small and generally consist of 6 co-ed group members. All referrals come directly through the school Boards.
