2020 marked the 50th anniversary of BGC Kawarthas. 

Since 1970 we have been providing a safe, supportive place for children and youth to experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life. From humble beginnings under the vision of Ron Kennedy the Club has grown into a diverse organization helping over 8,000 children, youth and families at 11 sites in the Kawartha Lakes. Hundreds of kids benefit daily from the Club’s programs and services.

Join us as one of 50 donors at $1000 to support our Warehouse Youth Centre.

Warehouse youth pay just $20 for programs and services valued at thousands of dollars, including:

• Free transportation from Lindsay schools, and home at the end of the night

• Healthy meals and meal-planning education – we serve about 700 meals each year

• Life skills and healthy living coaching, mental health supports and leadership development

• Academic and career support through programs like RBC Raise the Grade, Career Launch and our music  program

Donors will be recognized on a unique donor recognition wall in celebration of the 50th Anniversary.
